Nightmare Before Christmas Coffin Salt & Pepper Shakers: Toys & Games

It's almost Halloween... shouldn't these salt and pepper shakers be on your table??

My own funeral, I'd like to be laid out in a coffin in my own house. I would like my coffin to be put in the double parlor, and I would like all the flowers to be white.  Anne Rice

Tonight's Thought

The role seemed to demand that I keep myself worked up to fever pitch, so I took on the actual attributes of the horrible vampire, Dracula.
Bela Lugosi

I guess I'm pretty much of a lone wolf. I don't say I don't like people at all, but, to tell you the truth, I only like it then if I have a chance to look deep into their hearts and their minds.

Here's hoping that you have great dreams tonight.... hahaha

Night Thoughts

If the Stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore; and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God which had been shown!  But every night come out these envoys of beauty, and light the universe with their admonishing smile.  ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

O wild and wondrous midnight,
There is a might in thee
To make the charmed body
Almost like spirit be,
And give it some faint glimpses
Of immortality.
~James Russell Lowell, Midnight

In my age, as in my youth, night brings me many a deep remorse.  I realize that from the cradle up I have been like the rest of the race - never quite sane in the night.  Mark Twain

I cannot walk through the suburbs in the solitude of the night without thinking that the night pleases us because it suppresses idle details, just as our memory does.  Jorge Luis Borges

There is something haunting in the light of the moon; it has all the dispassionateness of a disembodied soul, and something of its inconceivable mystery.  Joseph Conrad

Nothing like a nighttime stroll to give you ideas.  J.K. Rowling

I only wish that I could sleep like I did as a child... all except on Christmas Eve lol

The Magic of the Night

I often think that the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day.  ~Vincent Van Gogh

I remember one night years and years ago when my husband and I stood on the beach of Chandos Lake in Apsley, Ontario and stared at the stars. I had no idea that there could possibly be that many stars all twinkling at once. It was amazing and you couldn't help but wonder if somewhere out there someone was standing on on of those stars looking at us!

Twilight drops her curtain down, and pins it with a star. ~Lucy Maud Montgomery
